Our Purpose
Our purpose at Growth Parters is to help people grow and improve their lives in three related ways:
1) Improve your livelihood
Livelihood is — your economic work situation, that can affect your family and your personal life in a big way. Generating income through growing a small-business is a livelihood option that when done well can be beneficial for many people.
2) Increase your capability to develop a successful business
Even though a business can be an option to improve your livelihood — starting and developing a successful business is not easy.
Many people start a business out of necessity — they can’t find good employment, so they try to make or sell something or provide a service, to generate income to provide for their family or their own basic needs. Other people start a business to be their own boss, to find greater meaning in their work, or when they have a particular ability that they feel can be of service and worth that others will pay for.
One challenge is that even when a business owner has excellent ability in their individual skill of construction, accounting, farmer, website developer, house cleaner, doctor, restaurant cook, or whatever … that many times they do not have much experience or ability in developing, leading, organizing, and growing a business. Or they have needed business expertise in some areas, but lack knowledge and experience in other areas — like a business owner who has training in accounting and experience delegating, but is unsure about marketing or about how to grow from a small to a larger business.
Growth Partners helps you assess and fill-in those gaps in business capability. We share with you a proven framework of principles, methods, and tools — to develop your successful business. We not only help you learn what, how, and why to do something, but we actually work together with you to help you to implement and apply that learning to improve your business results.
Our focus is to enable people to increase their business capacity — because if a person learns, acts, and develops the ability to grow a business successfully, she or he can improve their own economic situation, serve customer needs, benefit employees … and if they choose, help others to successfully grow a business.
3) Grow as a person
Our perspective on growing as a person is: To be good, do good, and become better — that each person may have greater happiness and expand the good they can do in life. To be and do good has two parts:
A) To be a good person. Striving to be a person of character, integrity, virtue, kindness, helpfulness, and all good qualities and attributes.
B) To be good at what you do. Striving to be a person of competence, excellence, effort, continually learning, developing, and improving — to be able to provide for yourself & family, and to help & serve others even better.
So that’s our purpose! … to help people grow and improve their lives by growing as a person, increasing their business capabililty, and improving their economic livelihood. We sum this up in our purpose phrase: Enabling Growth for Good.
Enabling Growth for Good … Our Vision
We see in our world today many good things, but also many challenges. Although a person’s economic situation does not determine their level of happiness in life … it can influence and affect many things in our life — our family (available time together), our marriage (the struggles of financial challenges), our children’s education and opportunities, our personal feelings and self value (peace of mind, discouragement, inadequacy, self-doubt).
Our hope at Growth Partners, is that we can be of service to help individuals and families to overcome some of these challenges — by helping and enabling people to grow — as a person, with a foundation of goodness; and as a business leader, with the ability to successfully grow a business; in order to receive the benefits of an improved livelihood that provides for their families and selves, that serves customers, that benefits employees, and that makes a positive difference in many people’s lives.
At Growth Partners, we continually strive to learn, understand, and increase in our goodness and capability as people and as an organization — to be able to enable the growth of business owners — for good.

- To help a person having difficulty finding good employment to apply their talents in their own business
- To enable a disabled person to develop a successful business
- To help an immigrant or refugee learn and launch a small enterprise
- To help people in Africa grow a business to provide for their family — and enable some of those successful African business developers to serve as teachers, coaches, and mentors in expanding our ability to help many more people in Africa benefit from growing personally and growing their own business
